Online safety and photos

The best aspect of advertising a property online is that it saves unwanted viewings saves time and can help potential buyers in learning more about the home for sale. Smartphone cameras and even the average camera can produce stunning clarity. Every pixel can be zoom down to the micro level. It is for this reason we advise that you

  • Don’t post photos you wouldn’t want everyone to see, consider the photos on the mantlepiece and on your walls
  • As a matter of etiquette, don’t post photos of others without their permission.
  • Don’t post photos of children online (especially not other people’s children without permission).
  • Remove personal paperwork from the obvious bank statements to personal letters

Always prepare the home before taking photos as if you were inviting the buyer to the property personally. First impressions count and your listing photos are probably one of the most important features to attract potential buyers.
